The final stage of Cutters Ridge Estate in Bli Bli has just been completed and provides an excellent example of how developments not only deliver housing options, but provide valuable public infrastructure to the broader community.
The Cutters Ridge Estate has delivered a total of 4.5 ha of public open space and recreational facilities to the value of $1.1 million to the Sunshine Coast Council over the course of the project. This has also delivered 170 allotments to Bli Bli.
The recreational facilities include a childrens playground within the Estate, a playground in Princess Park, walking trails along Petrie Creek and a viewing area, extensive revegetation to the riparian area of Petrie Creek and attractive streetscaping for the future residents of Cutters Ridge Estate.
Covey Associates was involved from the projects inception in 2003 and project managed all planning approvals, undertook all engineering design and construction phase management.
