Bli Bli Village Centre is a large commercial development in the Bli Bli town centre at the heart of the growing Sunshine Coast. The Centre is an iconic development that’s defining the changing face of Bli Bli’s historic township.

Covey Associates have been involved in the creation of Bli Bli Village Centre from its initial planning throughout its construction to date. Covey’s team developed the stormwater management plan and preliminary civil engineering plans to accompany the development application. Covey then prepared the detailed engineering plans for the civil works and structural engineering of the buildings. Our team have liaised with many major stakeholders at each step, including Sunshine Coast Council, Unitywater and the Department of Transport and Main Roads throughout the approval process.

Covey contributed to the Centre’s innovative design and developed a stormwater quality treatment train and detention solution for the highly constrained site. The engineering solution delivered an efficient and cost effective outcome for the client. The site posed complex challenges and required a high level of management from the Covey Team to ensure the construction phase ran seamlessly.
