Rivershore Resort is a unique tourism resort catering to families, travellers and international tourists seeking a unique, waterfront experience that is close to major roads, the Sunshine Coast airport and the region’s beaches. It is a high quality stay experience in an idyllic location.

The site features camping and RV sites along with upmarket “glamping” tents overlooking Petrie Creek.

The resort features a large swimming pool, bar, café, camp kitchens and amenities blocks for patrons. It is very popular for water based activities, with provision of a boat ramp and floating pontoon.

Covey’s team undertook detailed engineering for the site including internal roadworks, stormwater management, building hydraulics, pump station design, revetment wall, boat ramp and a Main Roads external intersection.

Our landscape services included concept and detailed landscape plans, agricultural buffer design and vegetation rehabilitation along the Petrie Creek foreshore.

We liaised with all relevant stakeholders including Energex for power pole relocations, THEDepartment of Fisheries for the boat ramp and pontoon, and THE Department of Transport and Main Roads for access, road widening and street lighting.

Covey Associates managed the civil construction phase, including the delivery of a Department of Transport and Main Road intersection at the access to the development which involved tendering the works and contract administration.
